Jane’s Addiction‘s 2011 album The Great Escape Artist was the band’s first in eight years, and the alt-rockers celebrated with a free show at New York’s Terminal 5 on July 25th, 2011. Live in NYC captures the 2011 show with live-wire performances of hits like “Been Caught Stealing,” “Stop!” and “Jane Says,” as well as old cuts like “Up the Beach” and “Ain’t No Right.” Of course, Jane’s Addiction were there to promote their new album, and their spiraling debut performance of The Great Escape Artist‘s “Irresistible Force (Met the Immovable Object)” swoops down halfway through the set.
