First the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, now this. Lynyrd Skynyrd will be honored on VH1 Classic’s Decades Rock Live program at 8 p.m. today. The program was taped in June at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, N.J.

The series focuses on a different band in each episode, spotlighting the band’s music and artists it inspired. Others highlighted in the series include Bonnie Raitt, Heart, The Doors, the Pretenders and Elvis Costello.
